What can be fished

Description

The fishing area in the area of Haganes is the only one above Brúar (the power station) that is not leased out, and the farmers look after the sale of fishing licenses. The fishing is just below Lake Mývatn, on the east side, opposite Helgey and Geldingaey islands. In the area of Haganes there can be good fishing and often good trout are landed, especially in the area around Mjósund.
