Ants

Excellent in every way. Brown trout and Arctic char can get so excited by flies in flying ant patterns that they won’t take anything else for a while. The wing gives the fly enough buoyancy to stay on the surface, while the abdomen breaks the surface film, simulating a flying ant struggling to get out of the water. The fish sees this and takes it by force, crazy!
