The Brennan fishing area is at the junction of Þverá & Hvíta in Borgarfjörður. The fish that are on their way to Þverá pass through this area. In Brennan anglers mostly fish in the confluence of the two rivers. It’s permitted to fish with a fly all the season, but in August and September anglers may also fish with spinners. The fishing can be really good in Brennan. Early in the summer, the catch is mainly salmon, but in late July the sea trout start to migrate powerfully into the rivers.
