The river is a “direct run-off” (rain fed) river, and its water levels can be very variable depending on the weather. In a rainy season and during the thaw the river has high water, but a dry season significantly reduces the flow, and the water becomes clear. This makes the river very sensitive and if not approached carefully, the fish will easily be spooked by anglers. Móra flows through Mórudalur, which is one of the most beautiful valleys north of Breiðafjörður. The river is suitable for fly fishermen and people are completely on their own
Most often the river is fished for 2 days at a time, but still there are some single days sold as well. There are two rods fishing the river and they are sold together.
