This is said to be a good fishing lake. It is 25 m above sea level and is estimated at 0.10 km² in size. It is mainly the brown trout in the lake that are in demand, and there are examples of fish up to eight pounds. The Arctic char, however, are mostly small, about one pound. To get out of the lake, turn off road no. 60 around Dali and Bæjarsveit just south of the road/track to Reykhólar. Drive south towards the town of Hafrafell.
