This lake is on Arnarvatnsheiði, in some distance of the Stóra Arnarvatn. It is 455 m above sea level and its estimated area is about 0.23 km². This is a good fishing lake, and most of the fish are quite good-sized Arctic char. There has been a large amount of net fishing here in the past but little has been done in recent years. Access to the lake is difficult with about a three-hour walk from the road to the north so it is not visited very often. There is, however, a jeep-friendly trail on the south side, from Úlfsvatn to Ketilvatn, and it has unfortunately been customary for people to “steal” into the lake along that route. Blöndukíll is a stream that flows from Ketilvatn and is one of the sources of river Vesturá in Miðfjörður. Although there are not many reports of catches in the creek, people who make their way to the lake should take a walk down there,
