What can be fished

Description

Selvatn, Rangatjarnir, Álftavatn, Skjaldbreiðarvatn, Heytjörn and Urriðavatn on Skagaheiði is a water area that is colloquially called Mallands-Lakes. The lakes provide healthy fish, brown trout and Arctic char, up to 4 pounds. The magnificent nature of Skagaheiði, bird life and places of interest are free bonuses. The roads to the lakes are always accessible by car in the summer but caution is needed when it is wet.
