River Hólaá has been productive!

Fishing in the river Hólaá and Lake Laugarvatn has been successful since the season started on April 1st. This is likely due to the unusually warm spring and the absence of frost in the ground. There have been plenty of brown trout, weighing between 1 and 3 pounds, and soon it’s time for the Arctic char to be caught in larger numbers.

Lake Laugarvatn has also been productive for fishing. Anglers who fished there a few days ago caught five Arctic char.
