San Juan bloodworm

The use of San Juan bloodworm has gained ground in recent years. It is an imitation of a moth larva when it is forming and is a common food for trout. Because of how light the fly turns out to be, it is often used as a secondary fly with another heavier one pulling it down to the fish.
