Description

River Breiðdalsá has its source in mountains where streams converge and Tinnudalsá, Suðurdalsá, and Norðurdalsá flow together. The surroundings of Breiðdalsá are spectacular and it is said that people can hardly find a more beautiful river to fish. There is good potential for big salmon – salmon around and over 10 kg are caught annually. It is possible to buy single days without food or accommodation until July 11 and from September 10. Groups that take all the rods can buy accommodation in Veiðihúsið Eyjar without food, if requested.
