What can be fished

Description

Geitakarlsvötn are lakes in Skagahreppur in A-Húnavatnssýsla. These are two lakes about 0.4 km² in area and a small stream, Geitakarsá, flows between them. Slightly further south is the lake Þrístikla, which is accessible by a car. Arctic char and brown trout are in the lakes, all of a similar size. A nice stream flows down from Þristikla to Geitakarlsvötn and it has a considerable number of fish, so it is worth fishing. In the middle of the route to Þrístikla is a small pond that has no name, but in this pond, there are a lot of playful brown trout that are well kept. The size is at most 1 ~ 2 pounds. There is no net fishing in these lakes, although it would probably be beneficial.
