What can be fished

Description

The east bank of river Hólsá is a great option for groups that wish to be on their own. A magnificent fishing lodge is included with the fishing during high season. This section is the lowest part of East Rangá after the confluence with the Þverá. In the best years, 7-800 salmon have been landed, along with some sea trout. Since all the salmon that migrate to the Rangá rivers pass through this area, there is often great fun during the fishing and people can have real adventures.

Accommodation & Facilities

Angling lodge

A magnificent fishing lodge is just below the confluence of the Eystri Rangá & River Þverá. The house has six double rooms, all with private bathrooms. The house has a spacious lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. A 100 square meter terrace surrounds the house with views of the river and mountains. There is a grill on the terrace and good facilities for outdoor activities. There is also a spacious hot tub and a separate building with wader storage as well as a freezer and refrigerator for the catch.
