Description

The section Þrastarlundur has many regular fans who know it well. The area is beautiful and easy to navigate. One of the better fishing spots of Sogið is in Þrastalundur and is called Kúgagil. There are always salmon migrating and big salmon are often seen there. Salmon can also lie in many places down to the bridge. Above Kúgagil and up to Álftavatn, there are respectable fishing spots that hold huge char and often also salmon.
