What can be fished

Description

At the farm Galtalækur II in Landsveit, there is a farm that is partly from the aquaculture in Fellsmúli, where the famous ice age trout is raised before it is released into Veiðivötn, but there is also fish from the Grenlækjar strain. This fish is released into Lake Tangavatn. Both brown trout, sea trout and Arctic char are released into the lake and people have often fished well in the lake, which is quite popular. Most are two to three pounds fish, but up to 10 pounds fish have been caught in the lake since releases began around 1992.
