The mild weather in November was incredible, and the amount of snow in the mountains has rarely been less at this time of year. The highest average temperature was 7.3°c and the highest temperature recorded was 16.3°c.
This is the warmest November since the beginning of measurements, and now some people are worried if there will be enough snow next spring to fill the rivers with water. It is important for the rivers that a layer of snow builds up before the end of the year, otherwise it could lead to a very dry summer.
Despite the uncertainty with the amount of water in the rivers next spring and how the fishing will be, fishing licenses are selling well and many rivers are getting fully booked.
