What can be fished

Description

The fishing area above lake Blöndulón consists of seven rivers and countless streams. For many years, the area was only fished by a private group, and it is clear from the catch statistics that there is a considerable number of trout and char in the area. This is a unique choice for those who want to fish stream water in the remote natural environment of the highlands. Access to the area is limited and although it is possible to reach all the rivers by car the anglers must walk along them.
