What can be fished

Description

The source of river Búlandsá is in the innermost small valley of Búlandsdalur. The river runs along the valley, then over a high waterfall and on for 1.5 km through the lowland to Berufjörður. The waterfall is not passable for fish. There are Arctic char in Búlandsá, many rather small but mixed with bigger fish. Some decent fishing spots exist, such as Ós, Brú and Foss. The char generally does not enter the river until mid-August.
