What can be fished

Description

Lake Nesvatn, or Efra-Nesvatn as it is usually called, is much higher up than other lakes that are covered by the same fishing permit, at 30 meters above sea level. It is about 0.3 km² in area, and from it the river Nesá flows into Hörtnárvatn. Both char and brown trout are in the lake, as well as in Nesá. There is a quite good fishing in Nesá, so everyone who is fishing there should try their hand in the river. Access to the lake is along a 4 km jeep trail or by walking.
