Description
Lake Gufárvatn is a small and beautiful lake north of the farm Valbjarnarvalla. There are considerable numbers of char in the lake and the usual size is 1-2 pounds. To get to the lake, turn off the main road to the northwest shortly before reaching Svignaskarð, if coming from the south. This road leads up to Valbjarnarvellir and from there it’s possible to rattle along a path up to the lake.
