Description

Lake Hafliðakotsvatn belongs to Árborg but lies on the border of Eyrabakki and Stokkseyri districts. It is 0.11 km² and at only 5 meters above sea level. The River Hraunsá flows from it, through Skerflóð to the sea. Fish can also be found in Skerflóð. In Hafliðakotsvatni and in the River Hraunsá there are mostly Arctic char and sea trout. According to anglers that fish here frequently, there are a lot of fish.
