The modest river Hallá flows gently into the sea right by Skagaströnd. It’s a rather small river and is fished with two rods for the whole season. Hallá has always been popular, both for families and small fishing groups, and many “Mariulaxar”* have been caught from that river. This is an environmentally sensitive river and therefore it is necessary to protect it as much as possible.
