What can be fished

Description

The salmon fishing part of river Haukadalsá gets its source from Haukadalsvatn, which is the biggest lake in Dalasýsla. The lake provides enough water supply for the river well into August, even in the worst drought summers. The river has been called the perfect fly fishing river. It’s only 7.5 km in length but still with about 40 marked fishing spots, so one fishing spot follows the other. They offer a great variety and are ideal for a floating line, small flies and hitching.
