Description
This Lake Hólmavatn is on Víðidalstunguheiði, at 470 m above sea level and its estimated size is 0.62 km². From the lake Öxná falls west to Víðidalsá, but it has hardly any fishing. However there is good fishing in the lake, mostly for char of around 2 lbs, thanks to the net fishing by landowners. The char was mostly about 300 gr before net fishing began to any significant degree.
