Description
This is one of the best fishing areas in Hvítá in Borgarfjörður. It’s down from the estuaries Flókadals- and Reykjadalsá, where they run into Hvítá, about a two km section. There are two rods and the fishing area mostly rented out to the same individuals year after year. According to the fishing association that leases the fishing rights in Svarthöfði 150 – 200 salmon are caught each summer and a considerable number of sea trout.
