Description
Lake Kleppuvatn is at the watershed of Haukagilsheiði and Víðidalstunguheiði, close to Hásteinsvatn, Baðstofuvatn, Hólmavatn and Melrekkuvatn. The lake is at 450 m above sea level and is estimated to be 0.20 km² in area. It is often possible to catch good numbers of fish on a rod, althuogh the char is on the smaller side. As with other lakes in the area, access is difficult and requires some walking.
