Description

Laugarbólsvatn is in Ögurhreppur in N.-Ísafjarðarsýsla. It is 41 m above sea level, and 0.52 km² in area. The salmon river Laugardalsá flows through the lake and therefore salmon are occasionally caught in it. There are brown trout and char in Laugarbólsvatn, but the brown trout have been declining. Efstadalsvatn is close by, but fishing is prohibited there. Road 632 runs to the lake
