What can be fished

Description

Nesvötn is a short distance from Laxárvatn on the north-west side of Skagatánn. There are two lakes, the lake to the east is 0.36 km² and the lake to the west much smaller or 0.08 km². They are 70 m above sea level. Both Arctic char and brown trout are in the lakes, nice fish for the most part. There is no road to the lakes, and it is easiest to walk from lake Laxárvatn.

Directions

Fishing is allowed in both lakes, the eastern one is larger than the western one (fishing is forbidden in Laxárvatn).
