Attendance at Veiðiheimar!

The website Veiðiheimar has been active for approximately 4 years. Initially, it was only in Icelandic, but an English version was added in 2023. Its usage has been steadily increasing, but it is primarily Icelanders who use it. There is no other website that offers as much information about fishing in Iceland for free. There are ongoing discussions about potential improvements and additions. This includes information packages that anglers can buy and bring with them on their fishing tours.

The website has been receiving from about 100 and up to 850 visits per day. Attendance peaks in the summer but decreases in the winter. Approximately 10% of the anglers are foreign. The most frequent visitors to the site are Americans, British, Germans, Norwegians, Danes, and Swedes. The majority of users access the site through mobile devices.
